The next day the companions were a bit more organised, well three of them at least. Pellius with his usual gung ho attitude had turned up without any healing potions and so had to take a minor diversion en route to the museum. Terhill’s watch hadn’t turned up anything new so without pause the party entered the building once more, all be it a bit more cautiously this time. A quick search of the box office revealed a small amount of treasure, and the party headed back into the main museum.
The room looked the same at first glance, the skeletal remains of the sasquatch undead still on the floor, but Terhill and Percy noticed that there was an extra footprint, and some of the bones weren’t where they had been left. It looked like someone had noticed their intrusion from the previous day. Erik looked around with some interest at the various exhibits, quickly coming to the conclusion that most if not all were either fake or really badly mislabelled.
Continuing inside more undead awaited the intrepid heroes, first a set of skeletons and then some half fish, half monkey like creatures. All of them were dealt with fairly easily but left an uneasy air about the group.
Ahead in the next room lay a body, lying on the floor. Pellius stepped in only to be swarmed by several tiny red spiders. Whilst their bites were only minor the number of them meant they had to be dealt with. That and the fact they were obviously poisonous. Eventually all of the tiny creatures lay dead on the floor. Now he could look at the body lying there….
