It was a subdued group that returned to the Wasp’s nest, carrying the limp form of Pelius, the remaining companions slumped into the chairs at the coffee house. Luckily Laria was on hand to help, supplying well earned drinks to start with and then a potential solution to their problem.
The next day the Terhil, Erik and Percy were introduced to Mhelrem Gestelial, a priest of Abaddar who initially expressed some concerns at what the aims of the newly formed Silver Ravens would be. In particular making sure that the City wasn’t destined to fall into a chaotic state and making sure that trade wouldn’t suffer. After Erik explained their motives and gave assurances to the Priest Mhelrem offered to raise Pellius from the dead as a gesture of support for the rebellion. Overwhelmed by his generosity the group renewed their efforts in gaining support and investigating what had happened on the Night of Ashes.
With Rexus keen to find out more about his family’s fate the next few nights were spent searching the ruins of buildings that had been burnt down on the infamous Night of Ashes. Successfully avoiding the Dottari patrols each of the sites was searched thoroughly. Unfortunately there was no further clues in the wreckage. The only saving grace was they found a coffer filled with potions and scrolls in the sinkhole that once was the Silver Star. With only minor injuries from falling in the shifting wreckage the group headed back, loot in hand. Unbeknown to them they weren’t alone, but were being followed by a group of people in red cloaks….
